Q. If Buzz Hargrove was speaking out of turn when he said that Stephen Harper is a separatist, why did Paul Martin approve the ad that says:
Gilles Duceppe and Stephen Harper worked together to bring down the government.
Lots of late night secret meetings.
Apparently, they're quite a team.
Which is great.
Because if Harper wins this election?
He'll need to work very, very closely with Gilles Duceppe.
Unfortunately, their unity won't do much for Canadian unity.
Apparently Buzz was just parroting the Liberal Party line, so why is Paul Martin lying to Canadians when he says that what Buzz said, isn't what he meant?
Q. Why do the Liberals think it's a bad thing to want to have a positive working relationship with our closest and largest trading partner, the US, but it's good to encourage trade with Communist China despite human rights abuses and the potential flood of our market with cheap goods (cars, etc.) at prices we can't compete with?
Q. Why do the Liberals think that Stephen Harper will defer our sovereignty and independence to the whims of George Bush -- is it because the Liberals know that they have never been able to say 'no' to their friends?
Q. Why is Paul Martin all in a tizzy because Stephen Harper mentioned that the Senate, Judiciary and Senior levels of the Public Service are Liberal appointees -- Does Paul Martin forget Art Eggleton, Glen Murray, David Dingwall, and Rosalie Abella and is he pretending that they are not all Liberal appointees, and liberal thinkers?
Q. Does Dalton 'health premium' McGuinty really think his opinion matters to Ontarians or that we believe a word he says? Is he saying he won't try to work with Mr. Harper if the Conservatives are elected?
Q. Why are the Blogging Tories being referred to Elections Canada for violation of the 3rd Party advertising law -- but not the Toronto Star?

The abortion question is one of the greatest hypocrisies in Canadian history.
Most people people have no idea of the fact that Canada is the only country in the west that has no law whatsoever regulating abortion.
That people like Dr. Henry are millionaires off of the misfortunes of teen girls is a true travesty.

Not according to the CBC's latest report.. they claim it's cheaper to maintain it, than acquire another 1000 RCMP to bring more law enforcement to our streets.

bc bear -- that's assuming the gun registry and 1000 RCMP officers would have the same effect. The gun registry has non-criminals register their guns with absolutely nil effect. The RCMP officers, I would hope, would be at border stations and doing investigations -- and would therefore be worth the money.
CBC needs a reality check. Don't believe everything you see on TV - especially government-funded TV.
The Conversion of Stephen Harper:
To change from voting Liberal to voting Conservative on Monday would mean accepting that Stephen Harper had undergone a conversion from the rightwing Saul of Canadian politics, to the middle-of-the-road Paul. Voters asked to believe this conversion need to satisfy themselves that the Harper who stood in front of a gathering of neocons in the USA in 1997 and lauded them as examples to be followed, praised their philosophy, denigrated Maritimers, decried Canada as a welfare state not to be emulated, has, in the course of the past 18 months, suddenly seen the light, and changed.
How credible is this Harper conversion? Well, let the man speak for himself: he said he has become more realistic, but his fundamental beliefs have not changed. Oh, and his comments were really in jest.
If so, how much stock can a voter place today on his program, on his statements that there will not be serious cuts, that he will not introduce legislation to take away rights entrenched by the Supreme Court? What assurance does a voter have that Harper will not turn around in six months time and tell the country: Sorry, folks – I was only joking when I said those things ....

A vote for the Liberal is a vote for separation, no matter how you slice it. No one in Quebec will tolerate the scum and ALberta, you know thw ones who supply most of your heating fuels, will be quick to follow.

If you believe a leopard cannot change its spots, you need look at Martin as well as Harper. If Harper can't change his spots, then neither can Martin. So, Martin and the Liberals will continue to lie/cheat/steal? The choice for you (curiousity) is whether you would rather have somebody in office who has stated what he will do and how he will do it OR somebody that can't be trusted and will give money to his aristocratic buddies. I'll take Harper thanks.

I think the writer of this post has been listening too closely to those Liberal insiders, motor-mouths Susan Smith & Susan Murray, who dispense their venom with equal speed but nary a worry for accuracy. Curiosity is in the Liberal war room, dontcha know. Probably close to the guy who made that phone call from Axworthy's campaign office.
Here are some things you can do to help your child develop. Show your child that you care about him/her and that you are dependable. Children who feel loved are more likely to be confident. Your child must believe that, no matter what, someone will look out for him/her. Give your baby or toddler plenty of attention, encouragement, hugs and lap time. Set a good example. Children imitate what ever they see?
