I suggested he should send a message, which he said he did. He promised to get in touch if he heard back. I still haven't heard from stageleft again, but no matter. Soon after, one of my kids decided to send an email to TurneG9@parl.gc.ca and she received a reply almost immediately.

Even when hes responding to messages hes sounds like a jerk. Nothing but a self important jerk.
Your daughter should ask if hes going to resign anytime soon. Peter Van Loan said that he can fit Halton in there. Even without a conservative candidate he would still loose.
But that would require Garth to be HONOURABLE now wouldnt it?
Looks like the same format of email address I used to contact Peter Stoffer week before last wrt the whole Shane Doan thing. Of course the big difference is that Peter has some class, where as Garth?????
Stoffer did not reply via email, he called me at home to discuss the email.
I still won't vote for him, but there is a reason he keeps winning in this riding. He treats the people in this riding (and elsewhere) with respect.
I got nothing back from the email I sent, checked the SPAM pit and there was nothing there either - regardless, if your daughter got a reply back there is obviously someone at the end of that @parl.gc.ca email address and my suspicions appear to be incorrect, and there can be numbers in their email addresses.
Keeps winning? He only ran once in Halton and won. He won ONCE as a Conservative against Gary Carr another Turncoat Conservative. Man Halton keeps getting the kick in the butt.

The guy has about 5 million different email addresses at his parl.gc.ca address.. .he has garth at garth.ca, he has an aol address, and EVERY address goes to his blackberry.
Cant he just have ONE email address? what kind of a person has 50 different email addresses?

Probably due to the fact his new email address (address number 4,309 he has apparently) was posted on many blogs. He could be taking some flack for his apparent (not alleged) cyber bullying tactics hes famous for.

I believe there was a Florida politician who was arrested for that a year ago or so.
In Garth's defense, he couldn't have known she's only 13. Although, you'd think after this, he'd be a bit more circumspect about his emailing practices.

One would also think that he'd show a little class. He seems like such an angry, bitter man, I have to feel sorry for him. Not for the Liberals, though. They wanted him, and they have him. Perhaps in the future they'll keep in mind the old saying: "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it."
